Rejecting compassion, stuck in emptiness, you will not gain the utmost path. Nurturing compassion all by itself, you’re stuck in rebirth, and will not win freedom. But if you’re able to join emptiness with compassion, you won’t remain in existence— or in nirvāṇa.
